Whether you’re in downtown Annapolis, out in Crofton, or anywhere in between, I provide the same personalized, one-on-one birth doula support. I attend births primarily at Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC) in Annapolis, and I also support families at other hospitals, birth centers, and home births throughout the county.

Annapolis

Annapolis is home base. As an Annapolis native, I know this community deeply — the hospitals, the OBs, the childbirth classes, the neighborhoods. Anne Arundel Medical Center is where most of my clients deliver, and I have strong relationships with the AAMC labor and delivery nursing staff. Whether you live in Historic Annapolis, West Annapolis, Parole, or the surrounding areas, I’m minutes away when labor begins.

Approximate drive to AAMC: 5–15 minutes

Edgewater

Just south of Annapolis across the South River, Edgewater is one of the fastest-growing communities in Anne Arundel County. Many Edgewater families choose AAMC for delivery, and the short drive means I can be at the hospital quickly when you need me. I’ve supported many Edgewater families through their first (and second, and third) births.

Approximate drive to AAMC: 10–20 minutes

Severna Park

Severna Park is a tight-knit community just north of Annapolis with excellent access to AAMC. Many of my Severna Park clients are connected through local moms’ groups, Chesapeake Birth and Baby workshops, and word of mouth. If you’re a Severna Park mom looking for a doula who knows your area, I’d love to chat.

Arnold

Arnold sits between Severna Park and Annapolis, making it one of the closest communities to AAMC. Arnold families have quick access to the hospital, and I can be there in minutes. Many Arnold parents are first-time parents who want steady, experienced support during labor — that’s exactly what I provide.

Crofton

Crofton is one of Anne Arundel County’s largest planned communities, with a growing population of young families. While Crofton is a bit farther from AAMC, many Crofton families still choose to deliver there. I’m on call 24/7 starting at 38 weeks, so the drive time is already factored into my availability. Some Crofton families also consider Doctors Community Hospital in Lanham or other facilities.

Davidsonville

Nestled in the rural heart of Anne Arundel County, Davidsonville is a beautiful community with easy access to both Annapolis and Crofton. Davidsonville families typically deliver at AAMC, and the peaceful drive to the hospital gives us time to settle in before things pick up.

Why Location Matters for Doula Care

When labor starts, you want your doula close. I live in the Annapolis area, which means I can reach Anne Arundel Medical Center and most locations in the county within 30 minutes. I’m on call 24/7 from 38 weeks — day or night, weekday or weekend. When you call, I come.

During our prenatal visits, we’ll discuss logistics: the best route to your hospital, when to leave for the hospital, and what to do if labor starts fast. I help you feel prepared so that when the moment comes, you can focus on your birth — not on planning.
